The movie No strings attached reminded me again of what I sometimes try to fight and forget - it is impossible to feel nothing. At least it is applicable to me, 100%. I tried few times to feel nothing on purpose, but it didn't work that way, it is more complicated.
Particularly one line caught me as if it's some kind of message for me.
It says, "Be hurt. The world can take it".
Yes, if I can more or less choose what to feel towards people, but be totally indifferent - definitely NO.
Sometimes it is just too deep the cut until the word "hurt" can be too much to bear.
Yes, be hurt.
Yes, the world can take it.
